Thurgood “Will” Marshall is a grandson of Justice Thurgood Marshall. Will grew up outside of Washington D.C. in Falls Church, Virginia. As he has learned more and more of the significance of his grandfather’s legacy throughout his life through both reading about civil rights history and through stories his family shared with him, Will is honored and excited to be a part of the Thurgood Marshall Foundation. Will graduated from the University of Rochester in upstate New York and he currently works in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office in Boston, Massachusetts. He resides in the Boston area with his wife, Alissa, and his dog, Sasha. He is an avid fan of baseball and hockey and is a runner, former competitive rower, and a former baseball player.
